I'm Mehdi Razi,

Producer, Director, Storyteller & Consultant,

working in Theatre, Opera, & Dance.

I’m an experienced producer and project manager, having worked with organisations such as Welsh National Opera, Wales Millennium centre, Hijinx theatre, Sherman theatre and National Theatre Wales, to name a few. I produce opera and theatre shows, artist development programmes, partnership projects, R & D, and cultural events.

My producing style is informed by the values, resources and activities and the process could be affected different factors. I deliver quality work informed by moral and social values of performing arts as a pro-active cultural medium. In my practice, the state of each project, values, ambitions, resources, creative visions, planning and organisation can influence my approach in producing different projects.

As a director and storyteller, I invest in performances as clear ways to tell stories, make impact and exhibit artistic expression. My work is informed by the genuine state of the community and society I work with, cultural values, openness in the creative process, creative collaboration, and access.

When I'm not working, I do gardening, doing countryside trips, travelling, reading, or doing body & mind workouts.
